Bullion $5 Gold
The $5 bullion gold American eagle contains exactly one-tenth ounce of pure gold, mixing an alloy of 91.67% gold, 3% silver and 5.33% copper with a weight of 3.393 grams. First struck in 1986, the denomination as been coined every year since and until 1991 used a Roman numeral date.
