Buyer's Fees
A flat 15% buyer's fee applies to all won lots, with an $8 minimum per lot. This applies to all Teletrade Auctions excluding the Tuesday No Reserve Auction.
Sales Tax
Coins
California State residents will be charged sales tax on the full purchase price, buyer's fee and postage & handling costs. Please note, coin purchases over $1,500 are exempt from sales tax in California (hammer price plus buyer's fee must be equal to or greater than $1,500).Currency
California State residents will be charged sales tax on the full purchase price, buyer's fee and postage & handling costs (regardless of value).In the event that you purchase coins and currency in the same auction, you will be charged sales tax for all currency lots (regardless of value), and any coin lots (if your coin purchases plus buyer's fee is less than $1,500). Please note, if your coin purchases in a particular auction equal or exceed $1,500, then your coin purchases will not be charged Sales Tax.
Seller's Fees
Consignors are charged a seller's fee based on the prices realized at auction and calculated per lot according to the following schedule:

Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are added according to the following schedule, and include handling and insurance:

Canada
Shipments over $5000.00 to Canada will be charged an additional $15.00, and packages will be sent via USPS Express Mail. Please note that any applicable VAT or customs charges are the responsibility of the Buyer.Buybacks (Unsold Coins/Currency)
Teletrade does not enter minimums or reserves on behalf of consignors. Consignors are permitted to bid on their own coins, but they must do so by placing Buyback bids no later than one hour before the auction begins (see "Maximum Bidding" instructions on how to enter Buyback Bids). Consignors will be charged a flat 5% fee (minimum $5) on their full Buyback bid on any lots bought back in this manner. The maximum fee for any Buyback lot is $100.
All coins/notes that are returned to the consignor after not selling, whether it be after one, two or three auctions will be assessed the following charge based on how many lots are returned. This charge includes shipping and postal insurance.
